West Suburban Theatre Blog
Dedicated to Inform and Educate Community Theatre Audiences & Patrons.
Welcome
Welcome, I’m Brian Case. The West Suburban Theatre Blog is my way of giving back for a brief but very enjoyable stint as a Community Theatre actor.
The idea is for the West Suburban Theatre Blog to enhance the theater-goer’s experience, nurture a greater appreciation for the art, and inspire increased support of local community theatres.
Here’s what to expect:
Local Spotlight Interviews: In conjunction with the West Suburban Theatre Meetup, Spotlight features interviews with cast members from upcoming Chicago West Suburban Community Theatre productions. Get to know the talented individuals who bring these shows to life.
Educational Backstage Chronicles: Discover what goes on behind the scenes, regardless of the venue or location. These West Suburban Blog posts delve into the fascinating aspects of theatre production and provide insights into what happens backstage.
Personal Interest Posts: Personal Interest posts celebrate the passion and dedication of individuals involved in the theatre world.
For a list of all upcoming West Suburban productions and auditions, please see our friends at West Suburban Theatre Connection.
Theatre is, of course, a participation sport. I encourage you to make it a point to join like-minded individuals in your area to gather together to experience captivating shows, forge new friendships and support your local community theatre scene.
As our slogan suggests, we hope that WSTB encourages you to “Pay attention to the person behind the curtain.” Join us as we explore the magic and artistry of theatre from a unique perspective.
